Cartex,
the Solvent Wiping Cloth from Chicopee
Cartex,
first introduced in 1987, is the oldest and probably the
best-known product of the Sur-Prep product range. The
main applications of Cartex are pre-paint solvent
wiping, removal of UBC and paint overspray. But Cartex
is also in use as a sealer wipe; it very efficiently
removes excess sealer, gives a smoothe effect on
costmetic sealing and cleans off spatulas and brushes.
Its rough and open structure makes it easy to trap
contaminations. Of course Cartex is silicone free and is
resistant to almost all industrial solvents.
